Pascagoula Police investigating possible isolated threat at Ingalls Shipbuilding

PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV)- One person is in custody following reports of a possible threat at Ingalls Shipbuilding on Thursday, according to the Pascagoula Police Department.
Police say an employee made a threat and mentioned a bomb. PPD arrived on scene and checked the shipyard but did not find a bomb.
The employee has been taken into custody. His name has not yet been released. Police say he is being charged with making a terroristic threat.
Ingalls Shipbuilding released a statement:
“As of 8:30 p.m. on June 4, Ingalls Shipbuilding has issued an all-clear regarding the potential threat. All employees have been cleared to return to work and operations have fully resumed.
Thank you to the Ingalls Security team and the Pascagoula Police Department for their swift response and professionalism which helped ensure the safety and security of our shipbuilders and Navy partners.
