Pascagoula PD Investigates Fatal Car Accident

The Pascagoula Police Department is investigating the early morning death of Marvin Johnson, 64, of Gautier, where he was involved in a one vehicle crash.

Officers went to the area of Jerry St. Pe’ Highway, where a grounds worker saw an overturned truck just inside the trees near the railroad bridge. They found a man dead inside the truck. The crash is under investigation.

Captain James Massey of the Pascagoula Police Department says, “When officers arrived, they found a pickup truck overturned, inside the woods, just south of Highway 90 on Jerry St. Pe’. When they went to check on the vehicle, they discovered a person inside the vehicle who was deceased, and at which time, we began investigating the accident.”
