Pascagoula Panthers, Hancock Lady Hawks, and St. Martin lady Yellow Jackets gear up for State Semi-finals in Jackson, MS
The Pascagoula Panthers, St. Martin lady Yellow Jackets, and Hancock lady Hawks all breezed through the State Quarter-final round last weekend and now have the opportunity to compete for a State Championship this week in Jackson, MS.
Hancock kicks things off for the coast teams remaining as they will play the State Semi-final matchup on Wednesday at 5:30. They will put their 30-1 record, and their chance at winning championship hardware, on the line against Neshoba Central.
Next up is the Pascagoula Panthers who are currently riding a 29 game winning streak. They will take on Ridgeland on Wednesday at 8:30. The Panthers are looking for the first basketball State Championship in Jackson County history.
Last, but certainly not least, to compete in State Semi-finals are the St. Martin lady Yellow Jackets. They have proven all year that you can make it to Jackson as the underdog. The Yellow Jackets will put their 25-7 record on the line against powerhouse Germantown – once again making St. Martin the underdog…just where they like to be.
