Pascagoula High students raise money for Moss Point tornado recovery

Pascagoula High School students celebrated Kindness Counts Week by raising money for the victims of the Moss Point tornado.

Earlier this month, the four class presidents at Pascagoula High School held a contest to see which class could raise the most money. The junior class won that competition.

A total of $500 was collected by the students to give back to the victims of that tornado.

Long Term Recovery Committee Chair Paige Roberts says that no matter the city limits, we all reach out and help one another. “These are Pascagoula kids working to help Moss Point families and, you know, the lines that make up our cities or counties or states are just manmade. But we all know that our brothers and sisters living all around us are just the same as we and when we’re down we want to help each other up.”
