Pascagoula-Gautier School District narrows down search for new superintendent
The Pascagoula-Gautier School District has narrowed down its nationwide search for a new superintendent to two finalists.
One of them is currently the assistant superintendent at the Ocean Springs School District Dr. Christopher Williams.
Ocean Springs School District has maintained an A rating during his nine-year tenure there.
The second candidate is Billy Ellzey who is currently serving as superintendent at the Kosciusko School District. Ellzey has 22 years’ experience in education. He also served as superintendent at Forrest County Agriculture High School.
Both districts increased in accountability levels during his tenure.
No word yet when the board will name a new superintendent to replace Dr. Wayne Rodolfich. Dr. Rodolfich is retiring after 17 years as superintendent.
