Pascagoula baseball’s Knute Robinson signs with Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College

Everyday is a good day to highlight our local high school athletes and we’re celebrating big as two schools hold signing day ceremonies! We’re starting things off with the red and blue as Pascagoula recognizes one of their guys on the diamond!

Knute Robinson is a right handed pitcher, outfielder, and third baseman for the Panther baseball program and he made things official this afternoon with Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College! Last season Robinson had two wins, 40 strikeouts, and participated in the State Games of Mississippi. Here’s what he had to say after letting the ink dry with the Bulldogs. 

“It means a lot to me. I really appreciate all the coaches that were there on the way and all the players I’ve gotten to play with to be there,” said Robinson. “It’s always been something I’ve wanted to do so I’ve always looked up to it. I’ve had a dude from Oregon that came down and told me about stuff and it just motivated me to keep pushing myself to be where I am today.”
