Partially overturned semi-truck on Highway 57

Earlier this afternoon, state troopers responded to a single vehicle collision.

On Highway 57, under the I-10 overpass, a semi-truck that was carrying swimming pools partially overturned.

The incident left one lane of travel closed, but has since been cleared.

Mississippi Highway Patrol Trooper Calvin Robertson reported that the trailer went off the edge of the pavement while the semi-truck  was making the turn.

No injuries were involved in the incident.
