Partial settlement reached between HCUA and Gulfport

The City of Gulfport and the Harrison County Utility Authority have reached a partial settlement in the dispute over waste management contracts.
Under the partial settlement, the City of Gulfport will retain its services with Waste Pro as its garbage and recycling service provider. However, the issue of just how much the City of Gulfport will pay remains in question and has yet to be determined in this legal dispute.
Several weeks ago, Gulfport had announced plans to break its contract with the HCUA which has decided to use Team Waste as its waste management and recycling provider.
