Paramedic arrested on sexual battery charges

Fifty-four year-old James Walley has been arrested and charged with sexual battery yesterday after a woman claims that Walley, a paramedic, assaulted her inside of an ambulance.

After being transported from George County to Singing River Hospital, police on the scene processed the ambulance and collected evidence to send to the crime lab.

Walley had his initial court appearance in county court today. His bail is set at $20,000.
