Papa John’s hurricane relief donation drive

Papa John’s in South Mississippi is teaming up with the Biloxi Police Department to bring much needed supplies to Beaumont, Texas.
The town is still reeling from the destruction of Hurricane Harvey weeks after the natural disaster struck land. The pizza hot spot is calling on the community to donate toiletries, cleaning supplies, and gift cards which will go straight to the first responders in Beaumont.
Members of Papa John’s tell News 25 they want to assist the people who have been working nonstop to help others. Papa John’s Marketing and Community Outreach Director John Pace said, “We’re collecting items specifically to go help those first responders. They’re back on the job working with their own homes destroyed. Some of them separated from their families. So, we need to get where we’re helping those who are helping theirs.”
You can drop off items at any Papa John’s location in South Mississippi until September 28th. Anyone who donates receives free cheese sticks from the restaurant.
