Palazzo and Ezell to face off in Republican runoff for 4th District GOP nomination

The Republican ballot for 4th Congressional District is heading for a runoff.

Incumbent Steven Palazzo earned 16,079 for 31.6% of the votes.

It looks like Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell, who earned 12,808 for 25.2% of the votes with 97% of the precincts reporting, will be his opponent. The two will face off to earn a spot on the ballot as the Republican nominee in the general election in November.

The runoff election will take place June 28th.
