Owner arrested on multiple charges after meth found in ice cream truck in Slidell

In Slidell, the owner of an ice cream truck was arrested after meth was found in the vehicle.

Slidell officers pulled the truck over after noticing it had no brake lights and an expired license plate.

That’s when they found the meth in a freezer, along with melted ice cream and other drug paraphernalia.

The owner of the truck, 42-year-old Tamisha Morin, was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics along with numerous traffic violations.

Slidell police say they don’t believe any children were exposed to the meth, as the truck has been out of service for a few months now.
