Overnight Shooting Injures Three People in Biloxi

Police are investigating an overnight shooting outside apartments on Rodenberg Avenue in Biloxi. Officers responded around 4:30 this morning to multiple shots fired in the neighborhood.
Witnesses say three people were hit by bullets. Two are being treated and the other has been treated and released. Jeroid Richburg was shot in the thigh during the incident.
He tells News 25 he was sitting outside of his aunt’s home and saw a man come out of the woods nearby and start shooting.
His grandmother, Bertha Richburg, rushed to the scene earlier today, crying and pleading with the 21-year-old to be safer and smarter.”I hate to see this. Jeroid, you gotta stop doing what you do and come over to the Lord, baby. Please come on in. I’ll do anything in the world for you. I ain’t got nothing, but I’ll give you what I got. I love you, too. I’m tired of running out on these streets like this here. I’m 64-years-old. I’m getting older. I’m not going to be here long. I’m trying to take care of y’all the best I can.”
