Over 65 floats rolled down the streets for the Ocean Springs Night Parade

People lined up on sidewalks and streets to catch some beads at the Ocean Springs Night Parade.

What started in 2009 with the Ocean Springs Carnival Association’s first night parade has grown into one of the most anticipated Mardi Gras parades on the Gulf Coast.

The parade started at 7 p.m. with over 65 floats. The route began on Front Beach and went north on Porter Avenue turned left on Washington Avenue and right onto Government Street.

The parade ended at the Ocean Springs School District Central Office on Holcomb Avenue.
