Over 380 pounds of unused/expired meds dropped off at Take Back Day in Biloxi

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- The Biloxi Police Department, along with the Drug Enforcement Administration, conducted the bi-annual Drug Take Back Day over the weekend.

At the conclusion of the event, Biloxi took in approximately 308 pounds of unused or expired medications.

The medication was turned over to the DEA for safe destruction.

This was all to give citizens a safe way to dispose of any unwanted medications.
