Over 10,000 pounds of food given away at local church

More than 10,000 pounds of food was given away at Fresh Oil Apostolic Ministries in Gulfport this weekend.

Cars lined up waiting to receive boxes filled with poultry, non-perishable food items, dairy, and fruits. With grocery prices spiking, Pastor Tabatha Ware felt it was a perfect time to deliver food to people.

Along with the food giveaway, the youth ministry also performed a praise dance. Pastor Ware said, “It is very important that we come out of the four walls because at this time, the people really need. Food, from my understanding, has really went up. We gave out bags of chicken. Big bags of chicken. So, not only that, we love to do outreach. We want to do more for the community.”
