Our Lady Academy’s Kinsley-Jean Stegall signs to play volleyball at Pearl River Community College

It was an exciting Tuesday morning at Our Lady Academy as one of their own signs to take their athletic career to the next level! The Lady Crescent gym was filled with proud teammates, coaches, and family members as Kinsley-Jean Stegall put pen to paper to make things official with the volleyball team of Pearl River Community College!

Stegall has been a leader both on and off the court for OLA serving as their libero, playing in the MAC All-Star game and contributing greatly to their three straight volleyball state championships! Here’s what Kinsley had to say about this special moment.

“It means the world to me because ever since I was in the seventh grade when I first picked up a volleyball I’ve been planning on going to college. I knew this is exactly what I wanted to do since the start, so I’m just really happy that it all came out the way I wanted it to,’ said Stegall. “I’m just so lucky that I get this opportunity because not everybody gets the opportunity to play sports or go as far as I’m going and I’m just really happy I get to do that.”
