Our Lady Academy students donate 5,200 canned goods

BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. (WXXV)- Students at Our Lady Academy showed up in a big way over the past few weeks to combat holiday food insecurity in Hancock County and surrounding communities.

5,200 canned goods were donated to the school’s annual ‘Can the Teacher’ food drive.

This food has now been distributed to St. Clare Catholic Church’s St. Vincent de Paul Society for distribution to those in need.
