OS Robbery Suspect Spotted Again

Police believe this suspect caught on surveillance video at the Travelodge on highway 90 in ocean springs Sunday night is the same person that robbed a chevron and held a clerk at gun-point.
The security footage shows the suspect in the Travelodge lobby at 8:38 p-m just 20 minutes before an armed robbery at the chevron gas station on ocean springs road.
Timothy Emery, resident of Ocean Springs says “had I been here like many nights that I am, it wouldn’t have happened. These people are like family to me at Coastal and Chevron, so anything that happens to them happens to my family.”
Staff members at the chevron gas station are still in shock over how the life-threatening situation unfolded.
Toni Bryan, Manager at Coastal Chevron says, “All together about ten years, and all them years not one time has this happened.”
The suspect who wore a black mask pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded all the money.
“She didn’t lock the door behind the customer that was in here and he took that opportunity while it was slow and it was just her and the customer”, said Bryan.
The footage shows the clerk opening the register, stepping back as the suspect takes the cash….also stealing the clerk’s personal gun.
Contrary to the chevron, nothing was taken at the Travelodge off highway 90 in ocean springs…
Police say the descriptions of the suspect at both locations match up.
“Somebody could have died and somebody I know very well could have died,” said Emory.
The manager of the motel who didn’t want to go on camera says she’s just thankful her staff members weren’t in the lobby during the time of the incident…they saw the suspect enter the building on a separate camera upstairs and then alerted authorities.
“Someone somewhere has seen him…they know him…and they really need to come forward.”
A very dangerous criminal remains at large. The number for the police department is 228-875-2211. In ocean springs Gina Tomlinson news 25.
