Organizations providing resources for hurricane season

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- As we all know, you can never be too prepared when it comes to severe weather here on the Coast.

In Biloxi, organizations are taking the time to make sure residents are prepared for when the next disaster strikes.

Resilient East Biloxi hosted their storm ready event last night, bringing in nonprofits and organizations across the Coast to provide some of the latest info on how people can stay safe this hurricane season.

From the best home insurance to disaster training, and even, how to make meals out of everyday canned goods, it was a chance for everyone to gain resources they might not always find easily on their own.
