Order of Glaucus hosting ‘Anchored in Giving’ Soiree in Ocean Springs this Saturday

Mardi Gras Krewe Order of Glaucus is hosting their annual Anchored in Giving Soiree this Saturday at the Ocean Springs Civic Center.

Order of Glaucus was founded three years ago and its members are committed to providing service to their community every year.

Each member must complete hundreds of hours of community service. One way the krewe accomplishes its mission is by granting scholarships to local students. Order of Glaucus Queen Christina Saewart said, “College is so expensive and it’s nice to show them that if you give back to your community, you’re a good student, and are committed to achieving your goals, you will have people here to support you.”

The soiree is Saturday at the Ocean Springs Civic Center. Tickets are $45 a person and you can visit their Facebook page for more information.
