Operation Troop Treats

As your child collects pounds of Halloween candy, how about trading some in to give their teeth a break and put a smile on the face of our men and women serving overseas? You can do just that at Kool Smiles Dental Office as part of Operation Troop Treats.
Until November 5th, kids can trade in 25 pieces of candy for a toy and that donated candy will be put in a care package for deployed military members.
Kool Smiles participates in Operation Troop Treats annually and dentists tell News 25 it’s a small gesture that really touches our service men and women. Dr. Tanika Hale said, “It means a lot to them because also when the children bring in their candy, they can write notes to these service men and women expressing their gratitude to them for their service. It means a whole lot to them.”
You don’t have to be a patient of Kool Smiles to participate. Any child in the community is welcome to bring in candy for our troops and get a toy in return until November 5th.
Kool Smiles is located right across from Edgewater Mall in Biloxi.
