Operation Triple Beam

Between April 16 – April 20, 2018, the Gulfport Police Narcotics Division, US Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, MBN, ATF, HSI and MDOC participated in a cooperative operation (Operation Shark Tank). This effort aimed at targeting felony offenders throughout the Gulf Coast through pro-active patrols, warrant roundups and undercover operations. This 5-day operation resulted in the arrest of 40 individuals for charges ranging from Sale of a Controlled Substance to Sex Offender registry violation. Several firearms and narcotics were seized during this operation.

This cooperative effort by federal, state and local law enforcement is a demonstration of the working relationships shared here on the Gulf Coast. Criminals should know the Gulfport Police Department will use every recourse at its disposal to detect, disrupt, and bring to justice all that seek to commit crime in our city.
