Operation Relief Headed to Louisiana Again

After seeing how badly Louisiana flood victims needed help, the crew members of Operation Relief knew they had to do more.
This morning, Operation Relief prepared to hit the road once again to Louisiana. Last week they went to Maurpas. This weekend they are headed to central Louisiana.
They set up shop gathering donations this past week at Rouses in Diamondhead and Neco’s in Pass Christian. Coast residents have donated everything from clothes to furniture and dishwashers.
The crew will be doing a lot of the same this trip such as cooking and donating supplies. They’ll also be partnering with an organization to help first responders get back on their feet. Brandon Necaise with Brandon’s ATV Service said, “What they’re going to be doing is giving back to the first responders and to try to get them back in their house. Get them uniforms, boots. We’ve already had several donations for boots so far. We’re just trying to get them back up and going. That way the first responders can get back out there and start helping the community.”
Neco’s out of Pass Christian donated over 200 pounds of chicken to help give free hot meals to flood victims.
