Opening School Mass for Catholic schools

As the Biloxi schools kicked off their first day, Catholic schools on the Coast attended opening school Mass before their first day tomorrow.

This is for all teachers, administrators, and students to be under one roof to celebrate this upcoming school year.

Traci Kessler enters her first year as principal of Nativity BVM Elementary and knows this will be an exciting journey for everyone this year. “I was a student there as a child. I just expect to keep that tradition of great education and practicing our Catholic faith going throughout the school year.”

A variety of activities will officially kick off the school year for Nativity BVM Elementary such as a ‘Meet the Teachers’ event, open house, and a spaghetti dinner for new families.
