Open enrollment for Medicare ends tomorrow
The annual Medicare enrollment period is about to end for this year, but seniors have time to consider options and charges to their plans.
Open enrollment is when seniors can make changes to their Medicare plans. Medicare usually means at least ‘part A’ hospital insurance and ‘part b’ medical insurance for other needs like doctor’s visits outpatient and home health.
But seniors can add options until tomorrow which the enrollment period offers.
Medigap may cover out-of-pocket co-payments.
Medicare Advantage covers ‘A and B’ with additions like vision, dental, and hearing.
Medicare ‘part D’ covers prescription drugs.
