Online Petitions To Secede From State

In response to the new law, a number of Natchez residents have taken to an online petition that calls for the city to secede from the state of Mississippi and join Louisiana nearly 700 people have signed it.

While unlikely the state will ever secede, the petitions organize writes she feels this is the best way to protest the new law.

In a similar move, a Gulf Coast Resident has also started an online petition for the three coastal counties to secede from the state.
