One person injured in three car accident in Harrison County

One person was badly injured in a three car accident that happened in Harrison County this morning.

The accident happened around 6:30 on Highway 49 and West Wortham Road. Units from the Harrison County Fire Service, Lizana Fire, AMR, and Harrison County Sheriff’s Department responded and used extrication tools to free the man. He was flown by Rescue 5 to the USA Trauma Center in Mobile where his condition is being evaluated.

Mississippi Highway Patrol investigated the accident which caused some traffic delays in the area.
