One million COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Mississippi

Governor Tate Reeves has announced some exciting news today that Mississippi has administered one million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Approximately 365,000 Mississippians have been fully vaccinated with 650 to 700,000 Mississippians getting at least one shot thus far.

This comes just one year ago when the state saw its first COVID-19 cases.

Mississippi is one of the only states in the nation where any person above the age of 16 can get vaccinated.
