One dead, one injured in crash on Highway 57 in Jackson County
JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal accident on Highway 57 in Jackson County on Thursday, March 20th.
A 2010 Ford F-150 traveled south on Highway 57 when it collided with a 2016 Nissan Sentra that traveled north on Highway 57.
The driver of the Sentra, 58-year-old Jeff Cowart received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene. The passenger in the Sentra, 52-year-old Eddie Roberson Jr., was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
