Victim identified, suspect in custody in fatal shooting in Biloxi

According to Biloxi Police, a person has died in a shooting at a residence on Porter Avenue in Biloxi.

Police received a call around 12:37 p.m. about shots fired in the 200 block of Porter Avenue.

Once on scene, officers located a single victim identified as 43-year-old Ryan Graham of Biloxi, suffering from a gunshot wound to his head. Graham was transported to an area hospital for treatment where he died from his injuries.

Through the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified as 28-year-old Dustin Ross of Biloxi. Authorities believe Graham and Ross were in an altercation prior to the shooting. At some point during the altercation, a shot was fired, striking Graham.

Ross was charged with murder and transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. He is being held on no bond.
