One dead in fatal motorcycle crash in Pearl River County

PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Saturday in Pearl River County.

A motorcycle driven by Timothy Campbell Jr. and passenger Karyn Dufrene were traveling east on Highway 26 when they collided with a Dodge Ram.

Campbell was pronounced dead on the scene while Dufrene was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries from the crash.

This crash is currently under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
