One dead in a train-vehicle collision in Stone County

A train-vehicle collision in Stone County has left one person dead as a result of the crash.

Stone County Sheriff Todd Stewart said the collision happened just after 3 p.m. The impact caused the white pickup to roll over.

The crash occurred at West McHenry Road. Stewart said the rollover caused the vehicle to leave the roadway, so West McHenry is open to traffic.

Stone County Coroner Wayne Flurry identified the victim as 30-year-old Charles Mykel Ladner of McHenry.
