One dead after semi-truck overturns in Pearl River County
PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- A man was killed in a single vehicle crash in Pearl River County Tuesday afternoon.
According to Mississippi Highway Patrol, 42-year-old Joseph Burchfield of Columbia, Mississippi was driving a semi-truck south on Highway 43 when it ran off the roadway and overturned.
Burchfield received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by MHP.
