One dead after Amtrak train collides with vehicle in Gautier
GAUTIER, Miss. (WXXV)- One person is dead after a fatal Amtrak crash in Jackson County.
The train struck a vehicle at a crossing on Ladnier Road in Gautier Thursday night, killing the driver. The driver has been identified as 29-year-old Tavares Johnson.
Mississippi Highway Patrol confirmed the fatality. The Gautier Police Department is investigating this accident.
