One arrested in connection to threat at D’Iberville High School

An arrest has been made in connection to a threat at D’Iberville High School.

That’s according to a message from the Harrison County School District Superintendent William Bentz. Bentz said the district appreciates the vigilance of students, staff, and community members who voiced their concerns.

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department confirmed a threat was made over the weekend on SnapChat by a person who threatened to shoot up a school. He was identified as 18-year-old Robert Murray of Biloxi.

Murray was arrested Sunday and charged with making a terroristic threat. He was taken to the Harrison County jail. Bond was set at $50,000. His initial appearance has not yet been set.

School was not affected Monday.
