On the Court for a Cause

Gulfport High School has a storied basketball history with the trophies and banners to prove it, but their gym might have finally witnessed the most important win in the history of Gulfport.
The police department’s Blue Crew came together for one purpose: to reach out to the community. Now that the game is over, the school’s Solution All Stars want others to help them answer the police department’s call off of the court and in the streets. Gulfport Police Chief Leonard Papania said, “I’m really expecting a lot from this program. We’ve got our first group of ambassadors and we’re calling them the Solution and they really are. They are the solution and this is how you accomplish it. The City of Gulfport won tonight.”
The final score of the game was 46-26 with Gulfport High School’s team Solution walking away with the victory.
