Ole Miss student injured in New Orleans terrorist attack
An Ole Miss student is among the victims injured in the deadly terrorist attack in New Orleans on New Year’s Day.
According to University of Mississippi Chancellor Glenn Boyce, an Ole Miss student was critically injured in the attack and is receiving medical care.
Boyce said he has spoken directly with the student’s mother to extend the university’s full support and let them know the university is thinking of them during this time.
The FBI is investigating the attack after authorities say the driver of a pickup truck sped through a crowd of pedestrians in the French Quarter on New Year’s Day, killing at least 15 and injuring about 30 others.
