Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss wins 2025 C-Spire Conerly Trophy
JACKSON, Miss. (WXXV) — Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss was named the winner of the 2025 C-Spire Conerly Trophy at a ceremony in Jackson on Tuesday night.
The award honors the top college football player in the Magnolia State, selected from a field of nine nominees — one from each school.
Chambliss has been a huge part of the Rebels’ historic season. The transfer from Ferris State averaged 348.6 yards per game and became just the seventh Ole Miss quarterback to record more than 3,000 yards in a single season.
Additionally, Jackson State quarterback JaCobian Morgan was selected as the winner of the first-ever SWAC Impact Award, and Delta State linebacker William Carter IV earned the Division II/III Excellence Award.
