Ole Miss dismisses employee for comments related to Charlie Kirk’s death

OXFORD, Miss. (WXXV)- Ole Miss has dismissed an employee for apparently making an insensitive comment on social media regarding the killing of Charlie Kirk.

Ole Miss Chancellor Glenn Boyce released a statement on Thursday, which was shared on social media, saying that the employee’s comments run counter to the university’s values of civility and fairness.

Boyce went on to say he encourages students and faculty to continue to maintain a civic campus environment.
