Ole Miss boosters names released

Being at the mercy of the NCAA committee on infractions has the Ole Miss football program at a pivotal juncture, especially in the days following the Hugh Freeze resignation where transparency is the best plan of action going forward.
Today, the university took a big step in that direction by publicly releasing versions of the 2016 and 2017 notice of allegations.
Those responses by the school include the names of 12 out of the 14 boosters, involved in more than half of the 15 level I violations.
Administration claims it intended to release the names last month when the response was first published, but John Doe filed a motion to intervene, contending it was an invasion to rights of privacy.
John Doe’s name, as well as his or her employee’s name, remain redacted by order of the Hinds County Chancery Court. Those two are known as boosters 12 and 14. Some of the boosters include Michael Joe Cannon, Cannon Motors, Chan Patel, and Walter Hughes. Also named in the response are Darel Thigpen, Carla Belk, Michael Strojny, and Lee Harris, the first of those being booster 1 as the first to appear in the redacted notice.
Robert Dunlap, Ayra Keyes, Terry Warren, and Rebel Rags were all tied to the violations as well.
