Ole Miss baseball’s Jacob Gonzalez clutch for USA Collegiate National team

For the second day in a row, Magnolia State pride showing up in the highlights for the USA Baseball Collegiate National team.

Yesterday, it was Tanner Hall out of Southern Miss, today it’s Jacob Gonzalez out of Ole Miss. How’s this for a national championship encore, hitting a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth and then ending the game in the sixth with a 2 RBI double off the wall in right field for the 10-0 mercy rule victory over the Netherlands.

The Americans are 3-1, having outscored opponents by a combined tally of 21-1, winning 2-0 over Cuba and 9-0 over Italy following a 1-0 defeat to Japan.
