Ole Miss alumni celebrate Christmas in July

As July comes to a close, Chandeleur Island Brewing Company did not want to miss the chance to get in the spirit of Christmas in July.

Chandeleur Island partnered with the Ole Miss Club of the Coast for Christmas in July.

The event is one of the many the Ole Miss alumni club organizes to raise scholarship money for students and aspiring students.

The venue was packed Saturday with alumni and future Rebels supporting the theme of giving.

Fans were decorated with Christmas-themed items as Santa made an appearance in what many would call a Rebel Santa Claus. Ole Miss Club of the Coast Emily Gabardi said, “We have Santa Claus here today. A Coasty Rebel Santa Claus and he’s here we have kids here, adults, everybody of all ages, a lot of it is to help future Coast Rebs get to Ole Miss and get up to Oxford and also just to keep the Ole Miss Coastie spirit alive and keep people excited for Rebel things on the Coast.”

Gabardi went on to say the Club of the Coast welcomes any fan of Ole Miss in the coastal counties, not just alumni and future Rebels.
