Ohr-O’Keef Museum of Art plans 3-day celebration for July 4 weekend
The Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art is planning a three-day weekend full of events in honor of Independence Day.
- On Friday, from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., a members only reception in the Ohr O’Keefe Welcome Center for Quintron. Artist talk and Q&A with the audience. Refreshments and libations will be served.
- On Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be Americana music from DJ Lefty Parker, a roast pig with all the fixings from the O’Keefe cookbook, cash bar and free museum admission.
- On Sunday, starting at 6 p.m., a live band on the plaza will create an original musical score in conjunction with the City of Biloxi fireworks over the Gulf. Music starts at 7:30 with Quintron’s Weather Warlock, to be joined by other prominent Gulf Coast musicians as fireworks begin. Food and a cash bar.
