Officials hold roundtable discussion on Bonnet Carre Spillway impacts
Congressman Mike Ezell brought members of the House Subcommittee on Water Resources to the Mississippi Coast for a roundtable discussion.
The meeting looked at concerns over the Bonnet Carre Spillway and other flood management programs, polluted water from the Mississippi River damages fisheries, the seafood industry, tourism, and the coastal environment.
The Corps of Engineers, the Save our Sound Coalition, and others were on hand to share information and look for solutions.
