Officials cut the ribbon on Pass Christian Fire Station 1

PASS CHRISTIAN, Miss. (WXXV)- The Pass Christian Fire Department celebrated the renovation of Fire Station 1 Thursday.

The station carries the name of the Jerry Andersen Memorial Station.

Fire Chief Dia’mond Woodman rededicate the building to Andersen, the only Pass Christian firefighter to lose his life in the line of duty.

Those who came out to speak included Fire Chief Woodman, Mayor Kenny Torgeson, and Chamber of Commerce Director Anna Claire Perronne.

Architect Leah Watters and Builder Heather Calder are the two behind the renovation. This renovation also comes from generosity of local citizens and business.
