Officer involved accident in Gulfport

An officer involved accident occurred this afternoon on Highway 49.
A Gulfport police officer was involved in a three-vehicle wreck on Highway 49 near Orange Grove Road. An officer on the scene tells News 25 the officer involved in the accident rear-ended the truck in front which then caused the truck to hit the vehicle in front of them.
None of the people involved in the accident were injured.
