Officer Hit by Car

A Biloxi police officer is recovering after being hit by a car while directing traffic on Division Street today. It happened after the Gulf Coast Carnival Association Parade. The officer, who has not been identified, was transported to Merit Health by AMR with minor injuries.
An investigation is underway but police say it does not appear to be alcohol related.
