October Teacher of the Month: West Harrison Middle School teacher Yolunda Brownlee

WXXV and Huntington Learning Center are teaming up once again to honor the Teacher of the Month for October.

Yolunda Brownlee is a seventh-grade science teacher at West Harrison Middle School. Brownlee was nominated by parent Brooke Pollard, who cited her love of teaching and her care for her students as reasons why she was nominated.

Here is what Brownlee says about the many students that she’s left a tremendous impact on. “They mean the world to me. Without them, I could not do what I do.”
