Ocean Springs woman charged with vehicle theft

An Ocean Springs woman was arrested Thursday in Biloxi on a charge of motor vehicle theft.

Maj. Chris Deback said Cassandra Lynne Stevers, 31, was charged after an investigation into a complaint in which Stevers allegedly stole a vehicle with a value of more than $1,000.

The incident occurred in the 2300 block of Beach Blvd on March 26, Deback said.

She was taken to the Harrison County jail and is being held on a bond set at $25,000 by Harrison County Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain.
